In order to ensure patients have access to appointments in a timely and fair manner, Treasury Medical Centre enforces the following policies:
Failure to provide notice to our clinic about an appointment cancellation or rescheduling will count as a “no show”. The clinic enforces a
“3 strikes, you’re out” policy in regards to
no-shows. No-shows are subject to the applicable fees. After 3 no-shows, a patient will be dismissed from the clinic and will have to find a new family physician.

PLEASE NOTE: 30 minutes appointments (i.e: Surgical readiness) are subject to a DOUBLE FEE since they take up 2 appointment slots
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call the clinic during regular clinic hours as soon as possible. Our office requires a 24-hour notice in advance, or the applicable fees will be charged. Failure to provide any notice at all to the clinic will count as a “no-show”.

Please arrive on time for your appointment. Appointments of patients running late may be cancelled at the discretion of the clinic to ensure that the doctors are on schedule. It is the responsibility of the patient to inform the clinic by phone if they will be running late. A courtesy call from the clinic to check in on the patient may be given but is not guaranteed. Failure to provide any notice to the clinic that a patient will be late will count as a “no-show” and be subject to the applicable fees.
Please ensure you have a valid, non-expired health card. Patients arriving with an expired health card will be billed for the applicable insured service rendered.
Please allow UP TO 48 hours for the doctor to process a medication refill faxed to our office.
Our clinic has a zero-tolerance policy for verbal abuse, harassment, threatening/intimidating language of any kind, or racism. Engaging in any of these behaviours will result in immediate dismissal from the clinic.
Phone Calls
The doctor will do their best to give you a call around your appointment time, however please allow up to 60 minutes for them to call you. The doctor will make a maximum of two attempts to call you, which if unsuccessful, will result in a missed call penalty (price listed in Fees). Please ensure to keep your phone on your person with the ringer on, and turn off any call blocking software or settings, and/or add the clinic number as a contact.
If you miss your phone appointments 3 times, you will lose phone appointment privileges altogether and can only book in-person visits.
Telehealth
Given that the appointment is only 10 minutes long, timeliness is important, There is a waiting room for you to wait in if you join the zoom early so there is no risk you see another patient. The doctor will not wait after the start time of your appointment and if you are not in the waiting room at that time it will result in a missed appointment penalty (price listed in Fees). Please ensure your zoom works and you have internet access and please note that a phone-call only option is not available for this meeting
If you miss your appointments 3 times, you will lose virtual appointment privileges altogether and can only book in-person visits.
